Description of Highview Country Singers -  

The Highview Country Singers is a seven-member Country Gospel Group with vocals, top-notch harmony, rhythm guitar, bass guitar, twin fiddles and a dobro which gives our sound the echo of blue grass.  We play new and old country gospel from Hank Williams, Sr. to the Gaither's and beyond as well as some old standard hymns. We've been together since January of 1999, and play regularly on the 2nd Sunday of every month at Highview Christiania Lutheran Church in rural Farmington, Mn.  Our 82-year-old fiddle player usually steals the morning with his 'words of wisdom' and his 'encore' song at the end of every service.  He is sure to send everyone off with a smile and a happy heart to face the new week.
